Applying for an Undergraduate Degree
It's not hard to apply, you just have to have a clear idea for which program you want to apply and then fill out McGill's online application form. To prepare yourself, you may want to review the following pages:
Once you know which program you want, you should visit the Prospective Students McGill Web Site and read all about being a McGill student, sign-up for a campus tour, find out about our Open House and so on.
If you are already a McGill student, you don't need to apply again, you just need to transfer into Computer Science or Software Engineering. See our page on transfers more more information.
When you are ready to apply, start from the Applying to McGill web site. You can click on the "Ready to Apply on-line? Click Here Now." icon and this will take you directly to the online application form. Enter all of your personal information and when you get to the page asking for your Program Choice, proceed as follows.

Applying for an alternate program
Note that you may choose an alternate program as well. This is useful if you want to apply to two different programs. You will be considered for both programs and your application for each one will be decided independently.
