Getting Started

  • Select courses and create a Masters plan
  • Sign the Letter of Understanding with the supervisor

Courses and Research

Students in the M.Sc. program can take courses and do research in any order they would like.

All students must begin in the Thesis program. If they are unhappy with their work, they can switch to the Non-Thesis program with approval from their supervisor.

Finishing Up Your M.Sc.

Students will continue studying and conducting research while writing their thesis or completing a project.

M.Sc. Thesis Track

  • When your thesis is complete, submit it for review.
  • Your thesis must satisfy the publication requirements of the supervisor.
  • After receiving feedback, submit your final corrected thesis.
  • Graduate with M.Sc.

M.Sc. Non-Thesis Track

  • When complete, submit your project and final report.
  • Graduate with M.Sc.
ALL M.Sc. students have a minimum of 3 semesters and a maximum of 3 years to complete their degree.

If you have exceeded the 3 year maximum, you will have to apply for readmission.
