Maria Klawe awarded honory doctor of science

Dr. Maria Klawe was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Science degree at the June 1st, 2018 convocation ceremony.  Dr. Klawe has made extensive contributions in mathematics and computer science.  She holds a PhD from the University of Alberta, and is currently president of Harvey Mudd College, a private liberal arts college in the United States, the first woman to hold that position since the College was founded in 1955
