Following tradition, we start the year with a series of talks from our own professors at the School of Computer Science. This week will have a second set of lighting talks, which may include any combination of highlights on a research area, an exciting new research result, or details about a graduate course.
The lineup for September 12th includes Jackie Cheung, Bettina Kemme, Hsiu-Chin Lin, Jin Guo, Blake Richards, Siva Reddy, and a presentation of teaching assistant awards by Giulia Alberini on behalf of the awards committee. A reception will follow in conjunction with the UCORE posters event in the Trottier atrium followed by the CSGS BBQ.
