Our last week in our series, at the CS Tools, Tips and Tricks seminar/workshop, Alexander D. Somma, from Foulab will be leading the session on Vagrant and Docker. The details of the event are as follows:

When: Friday, April 5  1:00-2:30pm

Where: Trottier 3120 (Krieble Lab)

Speaker: Alexander D. Somma

Topic: It Worked for me ... Vagrant, Docker and avoiding  "works for me problems"

Prerequisite(s): A personal computer that is both capable of running VirtualBox and connecting to the internet is the the requirement for participating in the workshop. Experience with the command line is helps with following along but isn't a must.

Cheatsheet/Guiding document: https://git.io/fjLVK

Blurb: Have you worked on team projects only to run into dreaded, "it works for me" problems. Dev teams are supposed to make it easier to work on big projects. Instead, they often mean hours more system setup. Vagrant is here to help build and manage virtual machines. Using it properly makes "works on my machine" issues a thing of the past.
