Technical Consultant - Full Stack Web/Application Programmer
Looking for ways to get involved with McGill University? The DataSphere Lab at McGill University is seeking a talented Full Stack Web/Application Programmer to join our team for an exciting project with a leading aviation industry client. You'll be part of a dynamic team, working on developing a platform to manage product-related documents and business processes, leveraging AI and machine learning to drive efficiency and insights.
This role is open to students from all universities in Montreal. Ideal candidates should have proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, but we welcome applications from those with strong programming skills eager to learn.
Your responsibilities:
- Designing and developing a front-end application using react/angular as frontend and node.js (or .NET) as backend.
- Designing and developing a database to store and manage the documents as well as other data required for the website/platform and other database and web programming tasks.

- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Databases (mySQl and/or mongoDB); React framework; Node.js.
- Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Location: Remote (must be living in the Montreal area)
